Migraine day 4

Migraine day 4

This will be brief because I don’t have too much energy for concentration. I just can’t get out of the migraine cycle. I took my migraine pill yesterday didn’t help. Took it again today and that’s really not good. I take a preventative medicine for migraines, Topiramate. I’ve been taking Topiramate for 4 years increasing from 25mg to my current dosage of 75mg. My doctor just increased the dosage and the times I take it. Now I’m taking 100mg but it’s split 50mg in the day and 50mg at night. Today is the first time I’m taking it during the day. I’m not sure if it will make me tired or loopy. The migraine pill , Eletriptan, I took both yesterday and today are when the migraine gets bad and nothing else works. I only get 6 of those per month. I already used 2. This is just bad. Today it is just painful too. ☹️. I don’t know anymore if this is linked to my MS. My daughter suffers from migraines too but no other family member has migraines that is blood related. My daughters migraines may be linked to her cochlear implants. Right now the why doesn’t even matter, it’s stopping the headache cycles that do.

  1. Without getting in depth on headaches/migraines and their various causes… have you ever been to a Chiropractor? I’ve been seeing one for over a decade now because of some issues I had when I was younger (got to the point where I couldn’t even turn my head). I’ve known several people who had headaches and migraines… were given pills for them, but they still suffered. I referred them to my chiro and they now swear by it. Something to consider if at all possible in your scenario.

    1. I haven’t had much luck with chiropractors over the years for other things so it’s not something I’ve looked into. I will look into it. Thank you.
