Goodbye 2018

Goodbye 2018

2018 wasn’t a bad year for me. Yesterday marked the day I moved into my condo a year ago. Although it was technically 2017, it was really days of complete chaos until 2018. I wake up to this view to look at.

Trust me it looks a lot better than my picture shows.

I learned that I can still swim. I have spent a lot of time in my pool. I was fortunate to have an indoor pool in my condo that is heated and available year round. It has been such a joy for me. I love being in the pool. I also love that it became another source of exercise that I was able to do. I have a small gym too and that is on my 2019 list for another blog post.

My Zoey dog. I have to say I fell in love with her this past year. Don’t get me wrong I loved her but a week after she came into my home my beloved Boomer died. I know it was ridiculous but I might have held some resentment. This last year with her she’s been fully out of her crate and just such a loving delight. She brings so much love to this house. Everyone loves her, she’s just so cute.

I went to spirit junkie master class 2 this year. Something I wanted to do when I completed the first class in 2017. I had my own personal breakthroughs and brought home new thoughts I’ve incorporated to my life. It wasn’t the spiritual awakening I expected but it still had a major impact.

I had the painting of Boomer done that now is hanging in my living room. Portrait Flip did such an amazing job that I feel like they captured his essence. The painting just makes me happy. It was made after the picture with the bowl.

My daughter transferred to The University of Albany and is loving it. That was so incredible because we wanted her to have the college experience.

I did a fundraiser for the handicap van and I can’t even put into words the generosity from people that donated. It was so overwhelming the sheer magnitude of support I received. I was so grateful for each and every dollar donated that helps me get one step closer to my van.

I could even go on here and say other things but I hit the major ones I think. I enjoyed 2018 and I’m looking forward to 2019. I’m going to make a vision board in writing and pictures in my next post. I welcome 2019.

  1. I love this Jamie 🙂 So fab to look back over your year. Can’t believe it has been a year in your ‘new’ condo already! Happy 2019 🙂

    1. Thank you. I have they’ve been a great resource actually. I have a separate post on just that topic. Thank you so much for letting me know because if I didn’t I would have needed it.
