Lunch with my friend
It’s such a simple thing that can make you feel good. Had lunch with my friend that I’ve known since 3rd or 4th grade. That’s a long time to know someone. I was best friends with her all through high school and college and then we lost a few years when life took us on different paths. Ironically it was her husband that got me to join Facebook.
When we lost touch I missed her and wanted to find her. The internet was in full force by then. I must have search her and her husband came up on Facebook. A very new site still in the States although my other good friend from Canada was trying to get me to join. Anyway, the only way I could write him was to join Facebook. So I joined Facebook wrote him and my friend and I haven’t lost touch again.
She has now moved to Florida but not to far from my dad’s place. I was lucky to be able to see her when I was down there in February. She is that friend that you won’t see for a few months and pick up right where you left off like a minute didn’t pass. We have the same humor on things and understanding of things.
My aid was with us the whole time and she said I see why your friends, your like each other. We grew up together. I was at her house every afternoon. I knew everyone she dated. I know her whole family. She’s a good friend and seeing her yesterday just made me want to write a post dedicated to her. We didn’t take a picture so I’m posting old school. Don’t kill me. Love you.
