My baby girl is home
I’m so happy my girl is home. Second year of college complete and first year away from home. Academically not the greatest year but Albany University is a hard school and she tries. Socially a great year and I see such a difference in this girl. I’m so proud of her. She is turning 20 in a few weeks and I’m amazed at where the time has gone. One day she was 6 getting a second cochlear implant and now she’s 20 at Albany University in a service Fraternity APO with a big sister and a new group of friends besides her other friends.
It’s all about the dogs when she comes home, especially Zoey. I can’t blame her they are cute. Zoey follows her around the house it is very endearing. Now they both are listening for any sound from her room to prove she is up and the games start again. Meanwhile we all slept late, dogs and I, from the excitement of her getting home last night.
However with all the stuff she brought in the house it will take us the 3 months she’s home to get her room clean again. You can always tell when she is back from school because of the small messy tornado that follows her home. My home is much less chaotic when she is at school but I don’t care. I’m happy to have her home. I missed her and mostly seeing her face in the morning when she wakes up. I get to spend the afternoon with her today, yippee. I’m happy to have my baby girl back home.
