Not a fun-day Sunday
Where I thought the high tides receded, there are pockets all over Freeport when I left the house at 11 o’clock in the morning. I was driving the wrong way down one-way streets. I was praying that my little car made it through some this tremendous puddles. It was like an obstacle course.
Had a big a quick stop at my friends house and the main light by him was out. I had to go around to make a left and go straight to make a right, it was crazy. Then when I went to go get my nails done there was a pole down and I had to go around the entire shopping center to come back to get in.
That’s where the next problem happened I was going to make a left down the main road and didn’t have the room went to back up and hit another car. Not just any car I hit a Mercedes. My passenger side hit their driver side. Since Geico has already been called and they already accepted 100% responsibility because I hit them, writing this there is no issue. It was just frustrating and disappointed and I did damage to my own car. I was weaving in and out of roads unexpectedly all morning. When I backed up, I was so concerned with the car that was barreling down towards me I didn’t think that was happening behind me. She has a couple of scratches on her car, mine has a huge dent. The back panel, trunk and bumper need to be replace. Hitting a Mercedes, is like hitting a tank. Just one of those days I should’ve stayed home. But I can’t dwell on the what if’s. It happened, it’s an accident and nobody was hurt thank God. Today we move forward.
