Lesson 67 in a course in miracles is love created me like it self. It may sound complex but it is very simple we are love created to love others. When we are born we have no fear or anger. We have basic needs: food, warmth and love. We learn fear and all that is associated with it as we grow up. We are born with only love. This lesson is a reminder of that.

When I was meditating this morning, trying to figure out what I wanted to write today, all that came into my mind was love. At that exact moment both of my dogs jumped up on me and started licking my face at the same time, a very rare occurrence. At least licking simultaneously. Dogs are the same way. They were also born to love. (I am not going to go into animal cruelty here and break my heart.) That pure innocence of love and trust. It just bought the most warm and loving feeling inside me. Something I wish everyone could feel.

It’s just a thought to leave you with especially around the holidays. Just remember a smile can go along way. A simple act of kindness means so much. Remember that you were born to love and love others. It is a good time of year to put away the anger and bring out your heart ❤️.
