Attitude Gratitude reminder from my sister

Attitude Gratitude reminder from my sister

My mood has been dark lately. I miss my dog. I feel alone. It’s been a tough couple of weeks. I received  an email yesterday, which was actually my sister’s newsletter. It was entitled Attitude and Gratitude. At the top of the email it actually said thanks Jamie. Truthfully when I first saw it I really thought she personalized it just for me. I honestly thought that even though it was her newsletter, for her business, that the subject matter…

A visit to the vet

A visit to the vet

My poor Zoey. She’s very upset. Crying at the door. Running back and forth between me and that shut door looking for her brother Marshmallow. He was just taken to the vet by my daughter. They are doing a drive thru vet visit. When she arrives she calls the vet, they come out and pick up Marshy. When he’s done, they’ll bring him back out. Pretty smart in these crazy times. My Marshy is due for his annual checkup. It…

Pajama Day for me

Pajama Day for me

It is a gray day here. Windy and rainy. I am in my pajamas and planning on staying this way for the remainder of the day. It has been a rough week for me. A list of thankful Thanksgivings

A list of thankful Thanksgivings

Thanksgiving is here again. It’s time for family traditions of certain dishes made once a year with an extremely large turkey that is never eaten and always consumed for at least three days after today. My family all contribute a dish. I always make my carrot soufflé which I’ve learned to make for every single diet I am following. https://multipleexperiences.org/2018/03/16/carrot-souffle-vegan-or-non-vegan/. My mom makes a corn soufflé and the stuffing. My sister makes the soup and sometimes brings a vegetable. We…

The brilliant pad for dogs

The brilliant pad for dogs

I get asked a lot how I walk my dogs. Well, I don’t. Walking the dogs became difficult after my last attack in 2014. When I had Boomer, he was 70 pounds, my daughter used to walk him. Otherwise I would take my scooter out with him. Since the day I got my little Marshmellow (yes we spell his name with an E), he was impossible to train, so he learned to go outside as well as inside. Marshy would…

Happiness is….

Happiness is….

Doing morning meditations and affirmations when I’m in that awake/sleeping state. Waking up to the faces of my dogs because that’s ALWAYS the first thing I see. Morning puppy love before I even get out of bed. Looking out my large bedroom window and seeing the water. Coffee brewing and making the house smell yummy in the AM. Finishing a 30, 45 or 60 minute exercise. Even though I’m in a chair for most of it, there is always the…
