New Bathroom Issues, yes they can be worse

New Bathroom Issues, yes they can be worse

I’ve had bathroom issues my whole life. By bathroom, I mean bowel. It was very common for me to go to the bathroom as little as once a week, sometimes longer. I many times had to take laxatives to “move things along“. This in…

A trip to the gastroenterologist

A trip to the gastroenterologist

I made it through this week. It was difficult at times but I stand by my decision to not bring in a substitute aide. I did have my regular aide in for the day yesterday because I had a doctor appointment. She was so helpful that she made herself available to be here during her vacation. Eight hours later nothing. Finally the following morning I went a little, far from the “cleaned out” goal….

Gastroenterologist visit

Gastroenterologist visit

I have to say this was a really nice office. The whole staff was super nice but the doctor was extremely nice. He spent a lot of time with me discussing the issues with constipation and multiple sclerosis. What a nice man he was. After a lengthy conversation together, the diagnosis was chronic constipation. Nothing shocking there, I knew that as did my referring neurologist. It was what should we do about it that needed an answer. He asked me…
