Walking 2 dogs
Well first I should say it’s not me walking it’s them walking…I’m on my hooveround scooter. Now let me explain my 2 dogs first. Boomer is my 10 year old English bulldog who is 70 lbs big boy who is very docile and easy on the leash. The only time he will really pull is if he really really needs to go. Otherwise he stops at every bush, tree, pole, post, or fire hydrant to check his p-mail. Now my second one is my 7 year old French bulldog. He is a total if 30lbs of OMG he’s going to be the death of me. Understand this little guy has places in the house to pee he doesn’t necessarily need to be walked BUT he’s attached to me and if I’m the one taking the big guy out he won’t leave me so he has to come too. The biggest issue with him is other dogs let me tell you my little 30 pounder has successfully pulled the scooter off the curb when he has flipped out from another dog just so you can get the magnitude of his strength I wish that was my only issue. I have rolled over all eight of their paws at least once not too mention my two feet at least once a week the leashes got caught within each other’s every few seconds never fails one of them walk around the tree, pole, post, bush or fire hydrant the wrong way causing me to have to get off the scooter and untangle the leash from that inanimate object. When my big boy does his business I wrap his leash on the scooter so I can hobble to clean it up well how he managed this I’ll never know but he got himself stuck on the forward button of the scooter so as he’s moving so is my scooter and as he gets scared the scooter takes off more imagine lumpy hear chasing a scooter plus 2 dogs down the side walk. By the time the walk is done I’m usually traumatized however my dogs are the greatest and they bring me such happiness that they are worth the aggravation and traumazation.
