Happy Halloween
I am long passed the days of trick or treating. My daughter is long past those fun days too. This year she went as a playboy bunny big difference from her last year costume of Lilo from Lilo and Stitch. I remember when I dressed her up as a Winnie the Phoo honeypot and she cried until she fell asleep in the car. I still have the pictures of her passed out in that honeypot costume. It’s shocking that it was so long ago it was a picture and not in my phone.
I live upstairs in a house with an entrance on the side, no one comes to trick or treat because you don’t know I’m there. For 11 years I never had to worry about making sure I had candy. I read on Facebook a really good post, it said if an older teenage comes to the door, don’t say to them aren’t you a little old to be trick-or-treating, be grateful that they’re only trick-or-treating. Teenagers can be doing a lot worse. I thought that was really good advice. I remember when my daughter was trick-or-treating a couple years ago and I was thinking the same thought, that she was a little old, but I was grateful that she was doing just trick-or-treating and not other things that can get her in trouble. I just thought it was a really smart thing to say and I really wanted to put it today in my blog.
I hope everybody has a lovely Halloween, whatever you’re doing. Have a great time dressing up and have safe day.

My goodness your daughter looks adorable! Kids get a little crazy and even rude now days. Last year a teenager, dressed in normal clothes can to our door. He did no say “Trick or Treat”, he said ” I am here for candy,” Needless to say he did not get any candy from me. I know that day he was trick or treating, but I have seen him around a lo causing trouble or being very disrespectful. Take Care!!
That’s not nice. I just wish people were nice. Life would be so much easier if people were just nice to each other. Such a simple thing.
