Love Comes Tumbling-U2
It’s been a while since I posted a U2 song. I’ve been a U2 fan for a very long time. However over the last decade I fizzled out. That doesn’t mean I don’t still love them, it just means I don’t listen to them as much. This song used to be my number one U2 song for most of their career until they wrote A Man and a Woman. What can I say I’m a sucker for the love song. This was a B-side track off of the Unforgettable Fire demos. Some claim it was never finished. For me it was that darkness in the song I loved.
Love don’t need to find a way
You find your own way
I forget that I can’t stay
And so I say that
All roads lead to where you are
All roads lead to where you are
The seed is spilled, the bed defiled
For you, a virgin bride
Hide yourself in someone else
Don’t find yourself in me
I can’t lift you up again
Love comes tumbling down again
Love don’t need to find a way
You find your own way
I forget that you can stay
And so I say that
All roads lead to where you are
All roads lead to where you are
