My NYS Long-Term Medicaid Page on my blog
Even though I knew it was going to be be my bigger project, I never thought it was going to take as long as it did. I spent hours upon hours getting that bundle of Medicaid together. I had most of the documentation so I thought I would was just going to need a little time putting it all together. Not so much!!! I wanted to make a really good package and I wanted to make a really good list of instructions. I thought I knew it so well I’d be able to knock this out in less than an hour, it took me about a week. Yesterday I spent the entire day getting the download on my blog. I’m still not sure everything is working right, but I’m proud of myself. I will test it out shortly.
I worked really hard on this and I really hope it helps people. It’s very thorough, it’s very put together and I’m still available for people to reach me if they have questions. I just hope people are skeptical because it’s all there. People turn to lawyers because they don’t know what to do and spend so much money. Medicaid is time consuming, yes. It can also be annoying and frustrating, yes. However it is also straightforward once you know your resource and income limits. I went through all of that. It’s all there. My goal was to make a package that was easy to understand and gives a family and applicant everything they need. I really think I accomplished that.
