A day in the life with multiple sclerosis.
One of those mornings

One of those mornings

I’m having one of those mornings. I started sneezing yesterday and woke up not feeling great. I decided to sleep in which was until about 8:45 when Zoey decided it was time for kisses. My friend and fellow blogger just lost one of her dogs yesterday and it was weighing heavy on my heart. RIP sweet Tiger 🌈🌈🐾🐾. I was happy to have the kisses from Zoey. I was up anyway Just as soon as my feet hit the floor…

Starting to feel more like myself

Starting to feel more like myself

I think I’m through the worst of the infusion side effects now, more or less. I didn’t have the greatest weekend. By the end of the days my legs felt very weak. I did sleep on my chair both nights. Thankfully I did because Saturday night, without my water pill, I was still up every two hours to use the bathroom. My legs would have been too weak to get me up and down into my bed. I made the…

Covid exposure

Covid exposure

I’ve been basically tucked away for the last 6 months. Limiting my outings, visits and exposure to people. I’ve lived in hibernation even when restrictions were lifted to a degree in New York. I still was exposed to the virus from the biggest germ-a-phob I know. This person was crazy about germs way before Covid came along. She would kill you if you kissed her and had a sniffle. She was sanitizing and wiping common areas way before that became…

Live from the living room floor

Live from the living room floor

This blog is coming to you live from my living room floor. I did not make my transfer well after my exercises and slid off of my comfy chair. I was in perfect position to get myself up but knew I had one shot at it. My legs failed and back down I went. After flopping around on the floor trying to change positions, I finally gave up. My aide will be here soon I don’t think my puppies mind…

How do you feel after an infusion?

How do you feel after an infusion?

It’s funny because all my complaining last week about NOT getting my infusion leads to this: I feel awful. Please, please give me my medicine. Pump me up with all this shit so I can feel lousy. ļæ¼ kind of makes you wonder what the hell I was I fighting for. All anxiety for four days straight. All so I could feel horrible. Rituxan Infusion Finally Done but still wasn’t smooth. It never fails someone always asks me, does it…

Rituxan Infusion Finally Done but still wasn’t smooth

Rituxan Infusion Finally Done but still wasn’t smooth

I finally got my infusion done on Saturday but it was still with a few headaches. I got a delivery on Friday of a box from the pharmacy that seemed to be another box of supplies. I still didn’t have the steroids, Benadryl, Saline Bag or the pump. It took me 50 minutes on hold until I got someone to pick up. From there I was bounced around to three different people. The last person I was speaking to was…

Today this blog is dedicated to the thousands of people that lost their life on 9/11. Please take a moment of silence today to remember those that lost their lives and another moment to hug the ones you love.

The infusion never happened

The infusion never happened

It was truly an unbelievable day yesterday. A day that did not end with her infusion. Not only did it not end with an infusion, it didn’t end with an answer as to when the infusion is going to be. I don’t even know how or where to begin. It turns out that CVS pharmacy is broken into two segments. One segment is the one that called on Monday rescheduling my delivery to Wednesday and the other segment is the…

Once again a problem with my infusion

Once again a problem with my infusion

You honestly can’t make this shit up. I’m sorry for cursing in line one of my blog but I am so aggravated right now I don’t even know where to start. At 8:45 my phone rings and it’s CVS pharmacy asking me when my infusion is. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????? I’m like you have got to be joking. I called three weeks ago to start this process. They were so helpful, so nice. I was on the phone for an…
