2022 Going Out with Vertigo

2022 Going Out with Vertigo

Happy New Year everyone. It is officially over. We made it through another holiday season. I started 2022 in the hospital with Covid and ended at home with a new symptom, Vertigo. I never had this before. It came out of nowhere. I was watching TV on December 30th and leaned my head to the side. Wow, I was spinning ?‍?. What the heck is going on now?? I can have low blood pressure, that was my first thought. Of…

Why I Chose Bionic Gym

Why I Chose Bionic Gym

I wanted to share the link to my Facebook event for Bionic Gym. https://www.facebook.com/100050572295847/videos/681628466987768 I just love Bionic Gym. I’ve been talking about it since day one of using the gym. I was planning on showing you my Apple Watch stats for two of my workouts days I talk about in the Facebook video. First the workout where I just let it run until the battery dies. This is the one I do nothing to increase my heart rate. The…

Busy Day

Busy Day

I’m actually writing this on Thursday evening. I had a long day. Since the change in my aides shifts, I am up at 7am. This morning I was up at 5. I had one of those MS symptoms that plague me whenever it is a inconvenient time. My feet were in pain. More like my heels. I felt like pins were simultaneously sticking into both my heels at the same time. Neuropathy. I know it well, but this time it…

A real workout from bed

A real workout from bed

I’m happy to report I haven’t felt any side effects from the infusion the other day. https://multipleexperiences.org/2022/05/06/rituxan-infusion-successful-2/. I might feel slightly more tired but it hasn’t stopped me. On both Saturday and Sunday, I did an actual workout from my bed. I put on one of my favorite cardio exercises programs from YouTube. It is a workout from Adapt to Perform. https://youtu.be/qbFvZEPTXDk. I had my Bionic Gym on at a high intensity, picked up a pole and turned on my…

Breathing issues

Breathing issues

On Monday something strange happened with my hands. I actually shouldn’t say strange because this symptom happened every time my fever spiked over 102 degrees. My hands became claws. I call them claws because they fold in and makes it very difficult to grab and pick things up. The better definition lies in this post. https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/shaking-curled-claw-hand. I couldn’t hold my fork eating a fruit salad. I tried to eat a muffin and I dropped the thing 4 times before I…

Bionic Gym highly recommended

Bionic Gym highly recommended

After all my worries over changing to Kesimpta, I’m now pretty darn happy I did. I felt fine after the shot on Thursday and all through the weekend. To not have to do a six hour infusion followed by 3 plus weeks of feeling lousy, I have to say I’m pretty excited. No more steroids. No more IV vein issues. No more aggravation with the former pharmacy over the correct infusion supplies. I must say that is a win, win,…

Heart Rate during a Workout

Heart Rate during a Workout

I usually boost about how I know everything regarding diet and exercise, well I was just proven wrong by myself. I always thought an aerobic workout your heart rate you needs to be above 150. That is considered a high intensity calorie burn. I remember reading somewhere in weight watchers that if you could have a conversation during your exercise it was NOT high intensity. This is what I always based my goal on when I would do cardio. I…

Les Millis Bodyjam Workout

Les Millis Bodyjam Workout

I’m setting up my blog the night before because tomorrow I start my double therapy sessions. First day back in physical therapy so I’m a little scared. Scared because I know it will be hard. On another note, I am always looking for fun new workouts that I can revise to work for me in a chair. I love dance workouts like Cize or Rockin Abs both from Shaun T on Beachbody. I have figured out how to bop in…
