Dating isn’t helping the diet

Dating isn’t helping the diet

Well good morning self sabotage, how you doing today? Yeah I know it’s all me.  Making bad choices and then throwing my hands up.  I’ve been writing this blog for three months you think that finally something with sink in, NAH.   I have finally excepted that the chance of me losing the last 20 pounds is pretty slim. Would it be better for me with MS? Of course but I think there comes a point where your body just…

Hodgepodge post with a side of weigh-in.

Hi everyone. First I want to thank everyone who reads this. Yesterday I wrote a tough blog post. Actually I wrote the blog Monday night and posted it on Tuesday. I did feel much better yesterday body wise but by the end of the day my body was shot. I woke up this morning made sure my daughter was awake and went back to bed. A first for me. I was definitely sad when I first got up today. Just…

One month no scale challenge

One month no scale challenge

I am my own worst enemy. It really is a joke. I keep the scale away to prevent my own sabotage but all that really happens is the sabotage is put off. I knew I was down weight so I stepped upon the evil scale. Again I wasn’t technically down weight just back to my normal weight I usually am.  Still not taking off an ounce of the 20lb I still want to loose BUT did take off the few…

My nemesis and the most evil thing I encounter…the scale

My nemesis and the most evil thing I encounter…the scale

Normally this is supposed to be Monday’s post. For some reason I was feeling good today so I took out the mean, horrible, evil scale.  I’m sure you can tell by my tone how this went. I use to eat pizza once a week I’ve had it one time in the last four weeks. I haven’t gone…

Giving up the scale post 3

http://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/well-good/inspire-me/82602708/Fitness-bloggers-photos-prove-weight-really-is-just-a-number The scale number wasn’t as friendly today. When I look in the mirror I feel better though.  I know that yesterday I had a high carbohydrate day which definitely can influence the scale. However again this was the main reason that I put away the scale. The scale is a number and we as females give that number way too much power.  I am 8 weeks into my 12 week P90X program. I know from doing this program before…

Good bye scale part 2

Good bye scale part 2

It’s been about 2 weeks since I put away the scale and I decided to take it out today and check. The 5lbs that i was up after my weight watchers monthly weigh in binge was gone but nothing else. However what I’ve found most interesting over the last few weeks is my cravings for junk have been almost non existent. I haven’t had any major days of eating uncontrollably. I certainly have let my body be my deciding voice…

Goodbye Scale

Goodbye Scale

My last three months of weigh-ins at weight watchers (WW). Technically I am within goal which is set at 145 and you have a 2lb leeway to be considered in range. However I should tell you that according to WW at my height of 5’2″ the goal is 137 but my doctor changed it for me. Today I am throwing out the scale, ok well not literally let’s be real here. Why? Because I am number obsessed. I can step…
