I started getting freaked out reading other people’s first shot reactions on the Facebook Kesimpta group. So I went to my doctor yesterday for the open sores on my breast. They are actually blisters that have popped and have pus in them. The fourth spot was still in the blister form. I had my full dose infusion of Rituxan yesterday in my home. Definitely the way to have an infusion. Got my dogs with me for some puppy love, relaxing in my chair and catching up on DVR. The infusion was started very late which was a downside. My nurse had an issue with a prior patient and an infusion that was already scheduled late was now started at 6:30pm. Third time I’m being infused with Rituxan. I was able to change my infusion place back to my home town instead of NYC. Saves at least 3 hours of the day. I got here at 9am and it’s 9:57 IV is just beginning. Why an hour? Well they didn’t get the doctors orders.
