My Saturday morning ritual

My Saturday morning ritual

It seems like I’m gonna have a new ritual on Saturdays: work out then put on F1 practice runs while blogging. I am so happy I got my money back from the F1 TV pro upgrade because this dope over here gets all the races on ESPN either live or on demand anyway. I could just watch my F2 races at some other point during the week with my basic F1 TV plan. I like to see the up and…

When will this be over

When will this be over

A sobering thought to the crisis going on in our world. Listening to the governor of New York State yesterday he said it very well, we don’t know. We won’t be waking up to newspapers announcement that the coromavirus has ended. We won’t see people coming out of their homes and hugging each other on the streets. We won’t have pictures memorializing this day in history when the virus ended. Picture from https://www.headforpoints.com/2019/06/09/may-bank-holiday-in-2020-has-been-moved/ This virus ends in stages. A vaccination…

Pick up the phone

Pick up the phone

I must admit I’m not a phone person. I’m great at text but I hate holding a phone. I drop it often and I can never get a comfortable placement so I don’t have to hold it in my hands. You know how you balance it between your ear and your shoulder? I sometimes can’t do that anymore causing me to have to physically hold the phone. My family knows I put many of them on speaker phone these days….

Formula 1, my new obsession

Formula 1, my new obsession

I stumbled upon the documentary Drive to Survive on Netflix. I think I watched the first season in a day. I was completely enthralled. I loved every second of it. Where has this been all my life? I didn’t even want to start the second season because I knew it would end. I immediately googled formula One to see when the season started. This season has been postponed because of the coronavirus. I don’t mean to sound horrible here, but…

A visit to the vet

A visit to the vet

My poor Zoey. She’s very upset. Crying at the door. Running back and forth between me and that shut door looking for her brother Marshmallow. He was just taken to the vet by my daughter. They are doing a drive thru vet visit. When she arrives she calls the vet, they come out and pick up Marshy. When he’s done, they’ll bring him back out. Pretty smart in these crazy times. My Marshy is due for his annual checkup. It…

And the daughter reluctantly returns

And the daughter reluctantly returns

My daughter is home. She came home yesterday evening. The puppies were so excited to see her. She hasn’t been been home in a few months. This was the longest stretch of time she hasn’t come home. This is what happens when there is no longer a boyfriend at home she is with. For all the times she told me she was coming home because she missed me, this proves it was always him. Lol, I actually never cared. I…

A blister formed after Rituxan infusion again

A blister formed after Rituxan infusion again

On Wednesday I was feeling something itching me under me right breast. I looked many times but didn’t see anything. I was on high alert looking for blister under my breasts. I was very concerned over a repeat episode of the side effects that happened last September. https://multipleexperiences.org/2019/09/17/blisters-on-breast/?preview=true&frame-nonce=b3345af611. When my aid looked on Thursday she was able to see a few little bumps in the area like a rash. We used a little Neosporin on the area. Last night I…

Welcome to my world

Welcome to my world

Another day at home except this time I’m like many others in the world. Welcome to my life. This is definitely the time to binge TV, read a book or 8 and maybe start a jigsaw puzzle. I’m hanging with my puppies, in my chair, gazing at the water and listening to the construction still going on near my condo. It’s comforting to know that things haven’t stopped completely with this virus. I am still feeling tired from my Rituxan…

Grocery delivery thankfully coming

Grocery delivery thankfully coming

I don’t have much to say. I am home and things are uneventful here. I slept better last night which I think my dogs appreciated. I’m tired from the infusion but that is normal. I have ZERO blisters and that is the main thing. My regular aid has been out the last few days with a cold. She didn’t want to be near me which I am thankful for. I’ve had this nice girl here but there isn’t much to…
