Sweetest little candy store

Sweetest little candy store

Yesterday was another lovely day out. Perfect weather, sunny not to hot just so pretty. That wasn’t what made it so lovely though, my youngest cousin came from the city and spent the day. Have you ever met that beautiful person that was just so genuinely nice and endearing? That is my cousin. She has the most beautiful smile that just seems to always be on. Just a completely genuine nice person on top of it all.  I take all…

Hallelujah open the windows the summer is over

Sorry all you beach bums but I’m a a fall weather girl. I love the crisp air, leaves changing color, Halloween, thanksgiving, my birthday and my oversized yummy sweatshirts. I love the smell of cinnamon and apples, pumpkin picking, hay rides and pies.  There is nothing about the fall I don’t love. This is my time of year always has been. I just have so many good memories of this time of year. My favorite picture of my daughter was…

Happy Friday

Happy Friday

JI had a nice  unexpected guess yesterday in the form of my sister she came over cause she had some time to kill which was really nice to see her. However she told me she couldn’t read my blog lately because it’s been depressing her. I do have to admit it’s been a tough couple of weeks so this one’s for her will be more upbeat because I’m really doing a lot better than I was. There really is something…

What a difference a day makes….

What a difference a day makes….

OK in my case maybe it’s two days. Yesterday I decided it’s time to put the sadness behind me I put my braces in my sneakers, I put my foot in the sneakers, I tied up my sneakers and I walked out the door. I drove with the braces which was a little difficult but maybe it will take more time or maybe I can’t drive with the braces haven’t decided that one yet. I got to my destination and…

Replacing my fears with the beginning of love

Replacing my fears with the beginning of love

The concept of love replacing fear is a major lesson in a course in miracles. It seems easy enough in some parts of my life but it is increasingly harder in other parts.  First is my fear over money. I’m always worried about being able to pay me bills. This is one area that my life coach and I have been working on for a while. I’m trying to retrain my thoughts, manifest abundance and think everyday without the fear….

Wasn’t expecting that!!! Snap out of it!!!

Wow I was going fast into depression the medicine the braces the $130 for shoes I hated the bad phone call with mom.  I just was so upset cried for hours straight. It just compounds on you sometimes but now add steroids into the mix and presto recipe for a bad situation.  I can’t believe how bad I felt yesterday I really just wanted to give up something that has never been in my nature.  I slept all day today…

Post rituxan and steroids

Post rituxan and steroids

Ok first mistake I made I stepped on the scale. I have one of the Fitbit Aria scales. It registers my weight by my name. The increase was so great from my Friday weigh in that the scale listed me as a GUEST because how in 2 days could a change that great happen, but it totally did. 12lb increase from Friday morning to Sunday morning. 12lbs THAT’S FREAKING INSANE. I know it’s not real weight it’s from the infusion…

Heroes get back up

Heroes get back up

Ive been a Humpty Dumpty collector since I was a baby. I’ve had past blogs on my childhood friends. I still sleep with them at the age of almost 45 and I’m not embarrassed. They make me happy and give me a sense of security. After long days and tough battles I’ve stopped apologizing for the little things that put a smile on my face. The picture above was a pin given to me when I was first diagnosed with…

A week in the life of Multiple Sclerosis

A week in the life of Multiple Sclerosis

A week in my MS world. I already had my rant of distress this week. So far the week has been better but it’s Thursday and I still have a lot going on.  If you have MS maybe you’ve heard of the studies of biotin in high dosages that seem to help people with more progressive stages of the disease.  This study which was done in the US is still small but larger ones have been done in other countries….
