Well, if your following the saga (or catch up with the link above), I discussed my insurance concerns with my doctor with regards to the Rituxan. The Rituxan will come from the patient assistance program at Genentech. However, the infusion of the Rituxan, steroids, benedryl and saline are not covered. So, this is it, the beginning of the weekend. My baby girl graduating high school but it starts tonight with prom. Busy, busy, busy day today. Everything is showered, ok well I’m showered, the daughter is about to. Continuing my story from yesterday… Two main things happened yesterday. I was informed that I don’t need blood work done. Shocker!!! I’ve been on Rituxan for a year and have had repeated blood work done satisfying the hepatitis pre-check for Ocrevus. OCREVUS (Ocrelizumab) is the new approved drug for the treatment of patients with relapsing or primary progressive forms of multiple sclerosis.  I’ve been on Rituxan, the sister drug to Ocrevus, for over a year. This was a very long week. Came off an incredible high of my amazing weekend at the spirit junkie master class. Followed right by my doctor for my shoulder, getting a Cortizone shot and finally feeling better.  Going right back to New York City for another neurologist check up with my specialist. Wednesday through Thursday saw 24 hours of drama with my daughter and her boyfriend. Luckily, that ended with a three hour dinner with friends, lousy food but great company….

I wrote a blog couple weeks ago titled am I depressed? https://multipleexperiences.org/2017/05/16/am-i-depressed/. I agree with  everything I wrote, but when I saw my neurologist the other day, we decided to put Prozac back in my medicine mix.  Where I don’t think I’m depressed, what isn’t fully in control, is my emotions.
