MantraBand

MantraBand

I don’t know about you but I love seeing my mantra on my wrist or wearing my message around my neck. I love the constant reminder like the old tool of snapping a rubber band on your wrist as a reminder. Sometimes you need to look down and remind yourself of “why”. Sometimes you need to remember to love. I’m am happy to have found MantraBand http://www.mantraband.com?rfsn=2065515.49da72&utm_source=refersion&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=2065515.49da72. A beautiful site in time for the holidays for you or a friend….

Changing my body image perception

Changing my body image perception

If you follow my blog you know that I’ve discussed weight and body image many times. If you’re new to my blog all you have to do is put in the search and you’ll find all the blogs pertaining to it. I’ve had a terrible image perception of my weight and body since I was a child. This is been something I have worked on for a long time and I failed at many more. Since I came back from…

The day after

The day after

Too much food. Too much pie. A whole bunch of smiles. I would never complain it was worth every calorie consumed. I had a really great birthday and felt love from my family all over and from Facebook friends and fundraiser supporters. My beautiful daughter spent the entire day with me and after the food fest we watched A Star is Born on my Firestick program my friend set up for me. I get so much with the Firestick. Thank…

Happy birthday to me and Happy Thanksgiving to you

Happy birthday to me and Happy Thanksgiving to you

It’s my birthday and it falls on the day to be thankful this year. I have so much to be thankful for despite having multiple sclerosis because there is so much good in my life. I’m thankful for my ex-husband because in meeting him and falling in love, we produced my daughter. I’m thankful for my daughter. My world and my younger counterpart. The best present I ever received. My beautiful girl who has grown up to be a very…

I’m responsible for what I perceive

I’m responsible for what I perceive

I had an epiphany while reading May Cause Miracles yesterday       I decided what I perceive when I look in the mirror. Pretty profound huh? It really shouldn’t of been. I’ve been doing this for a while. A 3 year student of A Course In Miracles this idea is taught everyday. I guess something just click for me yesterday and it all made sense. When I look in a mirror, I decide what I see. It’s my perception…

Steroid infusion set for next week

Steroid infusion set for next week

I’ve shared many blogs explaining how things were getting harder for me. My physical therapist, whom I been seeing for over two years, made a recommendation that maybe it’s time to try steroids. He is also notice the difference. His thinking was maybe, just maybe, this is actually some flareup of a MS. Maybe a course of steroids would take down any inflammation and give me back a little bit of my strength. Since I saw my neurologist less than…

My Saturday gratefulness

My Saturday gratefulness

I love the quiet of the mornings and watching the sun sparkle off of the moving water. My daughter is home for the weekend and she’s happy, loves her school, it is all I wanted for her to experience. Even with my severe fatigue this week, I’ve swam in the pool and have a new appreciation for the repetitive nature of the exercise. I love my condo. This place was made for me from accessibility to my view. I am…

A win is a win

A win is a win

I swam 25 laps. Yippee!! I drank water before and during my swimming. I had little aches but they didn’t last long and weren’t severe at all. This was the first time I was able to do 25 laps in weeks. It is silly but I’m very excited. It’s the small things with MS. No matter how small a win is I’ve learned to appreciate the win. I’ve dealt with MS for 20 years. I spent most of those years…

A Course in Miracles year 2 complete

A Course in Miracles year 2 complete

I never thought I would be here. My sister tried to get me on a more positive path for about two years prior me even getting on one. I started listening to recordings of crazy sexy miracles with Kris Carr and Gabby Bernstein https://crazysexymiracles.com/welcome/ almost 3 years ago and that was my beginning. I never thought of it lead me to something like A Course in Miracles. Yet it did, and I’m so grateful, devoted and faithful that I just…

You are what you think

You are what you think

This whole hospital episode has put me in a little bit of a depression. I just haven’t been able to shake myself from it but I’m very aware that I’m in it. I don’t know if it is a side effect of the immense amount of antibiotics or if my anti-depressant got messed up last week. I know I ran out and I my prescription was picked up late but I was given them in the hospital. Maybe it just…
