I built a dog run
Well now I’ve been trying to train Boomer to go to the bathroom. Boomer is the big one first picture. He’ll pee out here but he hasn’t pooped out here yet. Unfortunately he is over 10 years old and he’s used to being walked so it’s going to take some time. But I’m patient. I got cookies in my pocket and eventually will get there. But today I’m just hanging out hoping for the miracle. I did this for the future when my daughter goes to school and it’s just me, I can’t be taken out my scooter every day taking them for a walk three times a day. Luckily neither of them need much exercise or did they like much exercise both breeds are good apartment dogs. My MS will make walking them difficult so I’m trying to come up with a plan that makes it easier but still takes care of my boys. Have a lovely Saturday.

Congratulations on your project. When I was first training Miss Sweetie, I would stand in the yard and repeat the words “pee” and “poop”, hoping they would make a brain connection. She just looked at me like I was an idiot as I am sure every human within the sound of my voice did.
Once her training took hold, I had to be careful not to say those magic words around her in the house.
Great success to you and Boomer.
We had success I’m happy to report. I though Queen Stella would be the difficult training one.lol
I am glad to hear it. As for Stella, she is the cleanest and most fastidious of the bulldogges. The only time that I recall her having an “accident” is upon arriving at our home for the first time. In hindsight, I realize that she was making a territorial claim to her new kingdom. Her ears and face wrinkles are hardly ever dirty. There is never any visible dirt in the bottom of her water bowl. The others? Well, imagine a mud puddle surrounded by stainless steel.
She makes for an excellent conversationalist. My boomer is the prince in my home. He is served breakfast and won’t drink dirty water. He’s very high maintenance. My french bulldog is the court jester lol.
