Crazy Spasm
For anyone that has pain with your multiple sclerosis or pain with any other disorder, I honestly have a lot of sympathy for you. I experienced a spasm that caused so much pain I couldn’t even move. It started as what I call an indigestion bubble. You ever get that gas bubble that travels trough your body and it can be painful. I always have to try to move or stretch for it to go away. Lately it has been happening and traveling to the top of my right collar bone. That is how my spasm event started. I am not sure what came next but a typical spasm of mine was happening in my back. One I’ve described before like all of a sudden someone took my tendons and twisted them on a fork like they were eating spaghetti. That was what started causing the headache. I have no idea what or how the pain in my shoulder and arm started but that became severe. All these events were happening simultaneously on my right side. I was having shooting pain down my arm. I had a terrible headache from the tightness in my back. I was nauseous from everything going on I couldn’t even take a pill. I didn’t know what to do. I finally had a dry bagel at 6pm with advil. I asked someone to put arnica cream on my arm. As she was massaging the cream in I was wincing from the pain. It hurt so much. Two hours later we repeated the arnica cream and it wasn’t as bad. One hour later I felt the whole spasm lift and I could breathe again. The pain was gone. I was soar the next day but not in pain. It was a crazy experience. Please tell me if you have ever had something like this.
