I needed that

I needed that

I didn’t wake up in such a cheery mood today. Very unlike me too. Even when the first thing I see when my eyes open would be the faces of my babies, I still wasn’t really happy. I had a long day yesterday and I canceled my kidney sonogram. I just couldn’t deal with drinking 64 ounces of water before a test that I know I could never hold in. I mean I went to the doctor for incontinence. How…

Exercising is not optional

Exercising is not optional

I truly want to write happy, uplifting blogs but I haven’t been able to do that lately. For every good day I’ve been having a few rough days following. It seems like I’ve been having more rough days than good days. Each time I think I’m through the worst of it, like my infusion, something seems to happen. If it is a tough night sleeping or a great night sleeping, I’m waking up tired. Doesn’t seem to matter. Today I…

One of those mornings

One of those mornings

I’m having one of those mornings. I started sneezing yesterday and woke up not feeling great. I decided to sleep in which was until about 8:45 when Zoey decided it was time for kisses. My friend and fellow blogger just lost one of her dogs yesterday and it was weighing heavy on my heart. RIP sweet Tiger ????. I was happy to have the kisses from Zoey. I was up anyway Just as soon as my feet hit the floor…

Link for The MS Gym

Link for The MS Gym

I put up a permanent link to the MS gym on my homepage. I really encourage anyone with any disability to check this out. I have no affiliation with the gym. I’m not making any money. I really have put up this link because I honestly feel this is an amazing website. I’ve been doing one of the programs now for about 8 weeks and I’ve seen a difference. that’s a big deal. I’ve had MS for 22 years. It’s…

I’m a good tired

I’m a good tired

I’m tired. I start a lot of blogs like that, don’t I? I have put myself through an entire month of working out every single day. Was it worth it? Hell yeah!!! I love challenging myself through workouts. I always did. Of course everything is completely modified because of my MS, but it’s still incredibly hard for me. On top of that though, I was busy this week. I had my friend from the building up visiting. I had…

Working out a new way

Working out a new way

So Minx, my adorable puppy, has definitely affected my sleep. Yet my body has been more run down from the changes I made to my workouts. I have been doing various workouts for a minimum of 5 days a week for a long time. As my disability worsened, my workouts were modified but never stopped. I’ve modified to a chair quite successfully. I can get my heart rate up over 130 on some chair workouts. All good but muscle burns…

Totally Rocked This

Totally Rocked This

Sometimes I even shock myself. Lagging all day. The only thing I ate was plain matzo with some grape jelly. I close my eyes quite a few times but never slept. yet everybody leaves my house, it’s all quiet, and I put on my workout gloves and work out. Not only did I work out but I had a great workout. That just makes me so happy. Do you have an average heart rate of 126, I mean that rocks….

Keep on moving

Keep on moving

I’m recovering from my Sh’bam workout. Have a nice sweat built up and I’m still breathing fast although I’m not out of breath. I’m always looking for new workout programs that I can do to continue to burn some calories while being mostly wheelchair bound. With this workout, from Les Mills, Zumba, and my favorites on Beachbody on demand, they allow me to workout my arms while I bop in my chair. My feet never move. I do get a…

Working out with MS disability and weakness

Working out with MS disability and weakness

Good morning. I just finished my LesMills workout. I’ve been doing Sh’bam on there which is cardio dancing stuff. It’s fun but I wish I could be doing some of their other workouts like Grit or Pump but my body’s weakness doesn’t allow for that anymore. I have to revise all workouts I do to a chair. Then I have a problem holding weights. I’ve purchased hand weights that I wear like gloves and use them for all my workouts….

One day at a time

One day at a time

Still unfortunately feeling shitty. Once again canceling activities. The good news is I’m sleeping better, that really helps. Of course I’m a few weeks away from my infusion of Rituxan which had issues last time.Whether the issues were actually caused by the infusion or not, we still don’t know, but my concern is there to say the least. https://multipleexperiences.org/2019/09/17/blisters-on-breast/. Not to mention you always feel somewhat fatigued after you do the infusion so the whole thing has bad timing. I…
