A vegan/healthy snack find on Amazon

A vegan/healthy snack find on Amazon

Good morning and Happy Friday. I think I should be saying TGIF. I didn’t do much this week but I still feel a little drained. I am currently looking at the water which is glistening in the sun. Looks beautiful but I know it’s cold outside. It is still so wonderful to look at especially since it’s been cloudy most of this week. So far there has been no movement on the plots for that hotel that will block my…

My Sakara Journey begins

My Sakara Journey begins

I was sent an email by my beautiful cousin about this company I never heard of Sakara. She told me I needed to check them out. Anything my cousin recommends is usually worth looking into, so I checked it out. https://www.sakara.com/. It was everything I’ve been looking for in my vegan lifestyle. I wanted a really good food delivery because let’s be honest cooking with progressing multiple sclerosis is becoming harder and harder. My meals become repetitious because it’s my…

My family my support

My family my support

Good Morning to everyone. I think I’m officially through all my infusion side effects now. I’m happy to say I’m doing ok. Now I’m waiting for the New York weather to start resembling normal weather for the end of September. I’m ready to turn of the AC and bring out my comfy sweatshirts I love so much. I find the fact that it is humid very annoying. I love sweating during my workouts but hate sweating when I’m not doing…

Plant based eating with multiple sclerosis

Plant based eating with multiple sclerosis

A few weeks ago I made the decision to go back to plant based eating. Going back to Plant based eating. I wanted to get away from processed foods that once again started to fill me refrigerator and cabinets. I follow closely with Forks over Knives. https://www.forksoverknives.com/. I have their app and use a majority of their recipes. I also love Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis (OMS) https://overcomingms.org/recovery-program/diet. This is also a great site focused on fruits and vegetables, whole grains and…

WW Peanut Stew with Spinach and Sweet Potatoes

WW Peanut Stew with Spinach and Sweet Potatoes

Made this soup from WW, formally weight watchers, the other day. It was really good. A nice hearty filling soup perfect for the winter weather. I substituted regular potatoes for sweet potatoes because I’m not a fan as well as natural almond butter for the peanut butter. This might be a new favorite. Ingredients: Cooking spray 2 Onions, medium size chopped One Green Pepper, chopped 1/2 Lb Sweet Potatoes, peeled and chopped into 1/2 cubes 2 Carrots, chopped 2…

Once again joined WW, formally known as weight watchers

Once again joined WW, formally known as weight watchers

Wow I can’t believe in 10 days another year begins. 2020!! I guess it has to be easier than writing 2019. I do better with even numbers and even better when my 22 is in a number I’m writing. New Years resolutions, I don’t do them because I don’t need a specific day of the year to start something to make a change of habit. If I want something to change it isn’t the date that is going to make…
