I was sitting with both of my dogs yesterday, all cuddling on my chair. My Zoey decided to do her typical puppy love and kiss my face. I had my sister and brother-in-law over yesterday. Love them ❤️. I was showing off my new wheelchair that I have not been using. So Minx, my adorable puppy, has definitely affected my sleep. Yet my body has been more run down from the changes I made to my workouts. I have been doing various workouts for a minimum of 5 days a week for a long time. As my disability worsened, my workouts were modified but never stopped. I’ve modified to a chair quite successfully. Well I was very wrong about the fireworks. I thought everything was canceled but obviously that wasn’t the case. Where the fireworks in my town were canceled, other towns weren’t. Usually in this blog post I’m writing about how to keep dogs calm during fireworks. My Boomer was the worst. 70 pounds of pure chicken. He used to run onto my lap quivering. I made the grave mistake one year to take him out with us. He got so scared he broke his retractable leash. That takes strength. My marshmallow was slightly better, it didn’t bother him quite as much. However those really loud ones would definitely rile him up….
