I am finishing up the meat in my house and going back to a more plant based vegan diet. I switched to Keto to change things up and it did. I lost the most of the 10lbs I gained over the last year but I don’t like really eating this way. I miss my fruits and veggies. I miss my soups. I hate eating the cheese and I hate the butter. It was good at first but now I’m just ready to be done.
Why the extreme of Vegan? It is actually because of watching Forks Over Knives on Netflix. I just like that way of eating. I find it easy to follow tons of recipes and it makes me feel healthier. It also conforms to the Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis https://overcomingms.org/ way of eating. However they recommend fish which I will eat when I am out for dinner if need be. I have been so tired lately and I don’t know if it is because of my MS, diet or other factors. I don’t feel healthy even though my weight is a little lower.
I still have a few weeks of meat in my house and I am not going to waste food so hopefully right before the new year. I’m also a new found fan of hot sauce, who new. I’ll look for some new spicier recipes to try. I don’t have anything bad to say about Keto just wasn’t for me for the long term.
