Another nasty fall on Saturday morning. I took off the towel rack in my daughter’s bathroom for the second time. My contractor asked if I wanted to install a more secure bar like I have in my own bathroom and like an idiot I declined. Now I asked for the more secure bar to installed next time he is here. In the meantime I am using my own bathroom which both my wheelchair can get in and has the safety bar. Something I should be doing anyway. I just normally keep my door shut because my little Zoey still will eat Marshmallow’s poop if given the opportunity. Marshy likes to do his business in my bedroom and Zoey knows I can’t get there fast enough. I know it is gross and I’ve tried everything to get her to stop but unless you are watching her she’ll take the opportunity. My mom said if the choice is you falling or Zoey eating poop my vote is for your safety. I can’t argue that. I’ll just try to close the door behind me the best I can.

I am hurting. Banged up and bruised. Not a pretty site. This doesn’t include my head which once again was slammed into the shower doors. This too is also bruised. There have been too many falls again. I’m aware and making provisions the best I can. I can only do what I can but Saturday was a dumb move and the switching to my own bathroom that is set up for me is an easy solution. Done.

Today I’m seeing the infectious disease doctor regarding the blisters and abscess. https://multipleexperiences.org/2019/11/15/rituxan-is-not-the-cause-of-the-blisters/. Since the dermatologist screwed up my culture sample, I still don’t know if this was MRSA or a straight staph infection but I’m on day 14 of an antibiotic. I can’t be retested now. The infection is better or so it seems but I have a whole in my stomach where the abscess drained. This will be a long healing time especially for me. I heal very slow. I have a small cut on my hand that has been there for 2 weeks. I can’t imagine how long this whole will take.

Well we will see what the doctor says. Yuck. Still looks nasty. Happy Monday.
