Steroids day 1
Well unfortunately the nurse didn’t get here until after 6pm. I had a heating pad on my arm from 3 on because they said they’d be back by then. I get things happen but why can’t you have the common curtesy to call and let someone know. I ended up burning myself I didn’t feel anything. This morning the marks didn’t go away. It didn’t even help the stuck me twice and the veins didn’t hold. The third stick in my other hand finally worked.
Steroids are an hour infusion so I was pretty tired when the nurse finally left after 8. Plus she was scared of my dogs and I had to put them in my room, listening to them cry for almost 1 1/2 hours. I wasn’t happy. I covered the stint with a blue sock to keep my little Zoey from chewing on the wires.
Looking fancy huh?
I didn’t sleep well last night and I’m cranky. I did do Zumba this morning in my chair. My aid even did it with me. I needed to move knowing I wasn’t going to be doing much today. This is the easy part. I’ll do the second infusion around 5-6 tonight because of how late yesterday was. Then tomorrow I could do it between 4-5. The weekend will be the withdrawal, that is the hard part. Still hoping for the best. ?

Well, that sucks! Sorry you had such a hard night–tonight should go better. And hopefully the withdrawal will go better than you think. Hang in there!
Thank you ?
